Happy Summer everyone!

Our work week begins with officially ushering in summer... in the northern hemisphere on this... Monday June 21, 2010.

Yes, the Sun moves into Cancer marking the first day of summer 2010!

In the lands south of the equator, this marks the Winter solstice. Traditionally the Sun moving into Cancer... marks one of the four Cardinal Seasons in the year...

the others being... Aries...starting out our new year, with the Season of Spring...the time of "Planting"...

Libra...the Season of Fall...the time of "Harvesting" what we planted in Spring... and cultivated in the summer.

Capricorn... Winter...the time of "Sleep"...to prepare for the coming of the New year, and a New spring?

These are important marking points in the progress of the annual solar cycle, being times of renewal, and necessary change!

Cancer...is the time to "Cultivate" what we have planted in Spring.

It is a highly creative, ambitious, sensitive emotional sign. It rules our desire for security... the feminine...the Home... the family. It puts a high value on loyalty, patriotism, friends... and wants to nurture and protect them.

However, all will not run that smoothly... as the sign of Cancer, steps us into summer.

So if you find yourself dealing with some unpleasant surprises... this Monday June 21, and Tuesday June 22...

You can just Blame It On the Stars!

All due to the Planetary aspect that the new Cancer Sun makes in a negative square (90 degrees) aspect to the planet, of the unexpected, Uranus!

Uranus is almost the opposite of Cancer in its inclinations. It dislikes ties, hates possessiveness, is brutally honest.. and can be thoroughly contrary.

Therefore it will tend to upset the applecart and bring surprises!

Is there an up-side? Yes, it can shake up situations which have become too stuck-in-the-mud... even though it may upset Cancer's comfort zone?

However, mid week Wednesday... helps all our moods...as the Sun in square to the planet Jupiter on June 23, gives us all a note of optimism and enthusiasm...

even though, it may not be very realistic... at least everyone will feel better by Wednesday. Just try not to over indulge, and be careless.

That warning is especially in the morning hours... as our Scorpio moon tends to be overly stubborn in wanting to control things... when it aspects the planet Neptune, ruling deception...from 7 AM until 2:00 PM.

Thursday June 24, the Sagittarius moon starts out our day... making us want to deal with truths...even unpleasant ones? They say that,"The truth will set you free"?

But everything in its proper time...and Thursday's morning hours, are astrologically very negative. Not the time to blurt out what you think at the moment as true. Mars in picky Virgo, in a morning square to the moon... will be making you overly critical!

In fact, that negative thought process can set the pace...into all of Friday, June 25...

as it will be on Friday June 25, 2010... that the planet Mercury, that rules our thoughts, communication, and travel... also enters the sign of Cancer...adding emotions to our thoughts for the next 15 days.

Putting it all together on Friday... with the new Mercury in square aspect to Uranus...close to the sun... along with aspects from our moon...makes Friday the pick of the week... as the most difficult!

A day when caution and patience should be your motto...in all your Friday's activities! True for all sun signs!

Saturday June 26, looks calmer as those dark emotional thoughts lift...and we look for more suitable practical ways to deal with our security need...and fears.

Sunday June 27, that practical trend... can lend a hand in making Sunday a day... to re-establish order... and make sensible plans...for the future...
