A Week of Confusion.

 

Nothing is as it seems this week. First, take time to carefully consider your dreams and goals as Mars conjuncts Neptune in Pisces on February 4. Soon after, you may not be able to determine who's telling the truth when communication planet Mercury enters imaginative Pisces on February 5 and conjuncts Neptune on February 6. Be careful, for what you say could add to all the confusion as Mercury and Mars conjunct in Pisces on February 8. Finally, a new Moon in Aquarius on February 9 brings a fresh start!

February 4: Mars conjuncts Neptune
When Mars, the planet of action and desire, meets Neptune, the planet of spirituality and idealism, your dreams become a powerful motivating force in your life. Still, your goals need a big dose of practicality and common sense to succeed. This is an aspect of manifestation, and if you can recognize the difference between fantasy and dream -- perhaps you're willing to work hard for a dream, but not a fantasy -- you'll make good progress.
February 5: Mercury enters Pisces
February 6: Mercury conjuncts Neptune
Get ready for a double dose of idealism -- or deception -- as the communication planet enters dreamy Pisces and conjuncts imaginative Neptune. Since nothing seems clear now, this is a terrible time to sign contracts or otherwise enter into agreements. Be aware of deals that seem too good to be true, as they probably are! However, these cosmic events present wonderful opportunities to seek inspiration by listening to beautiful music, taking a walk in the park, recording your thoughts in a journal, or just sitting and gazing as you daydream. Simply take everything in that's going on around you without trying to solve anything.

February 8: Mercury conjuncts Mars
Ordinarily, this aspect would cause you and others to become argumentative. However, since Mercury and Mars are both in Pisces and conjunct Neptune, it seems like nobody can keep track of who's saying what to whom! Misunderstandings and deception can cause problems right now, so if you have a great idea you want to share with others, save it for another time when communication lines are clearer.

February 9: New Moon in Aquarius
Teamwork is key right now, so you'll be most successful by working with groups, investing in your community, and simply spending more time with friends. This is no time to isolate yourself! The new Moon offers a fresh beginning, making this a great time to pursue your goals. In fact, the Moon squares the North Node in Scorpio and South Node in Taurus, so make sure you handle your money wisely, as financial transactions are highlighted during this time. The current overall pattern of planets shows that people are not always what they seem, so proceed with caution -- especially if money is involved. Finally, the annual new Moon in Aquarius also marks the Chinese New Year, and this year heralds the Year of the Water Snake!
